Jivan's Client And Fan Appreciation Soiree

Set in the modern loft space of  Kai Design & Communication, Jivan Collection celebrated their loyal customers, Facebook fans and friends with a wine and cheese cocktail while showcasing some of the new pieces of the line. One collection being featured was the handmade skinny Briolette bracelets with a multitude of various semi-precious stones such as blue topaz, yellow citrine, green quartz, black onyx, lapis as well as fresh water pearls. Every piece comes with a custom signature Jivan Collection pouch with a fabulous ikat print to touch on the Navajo inspired trend.

On display were the latest ad campaigns featuring a duo of beautiful models Gage Lazare and Fallyn McComber. The look of the shots are slightly more edgy and sensual than the usual classic and timeless image of the line, however this simply highlights the range of customers that Jivan Collection reaches.

Overall the night was a success and guests had an opportunity to write their comments and praise in the guestbook leaving the designer Jivan Yeramian with a huge source of inspiration and appreciation. As a thank you, guests were given a generous $20 gift certificate towards their next purchase.

With over 400 fans on Facebook, Jivan Collection is reminded how important his clients are and will continue to satisfy their needs for years to come!

what's the Skinny?

Bracelets you say?

One of this season’s hottest accessories is the skinny bracelet. This item is perfect for mixing & matching so make a statement by wearing one, two or even six! Offered in so many colors and styles you will have more options than you can deal with.
Inspired by his latest visit to Europe, Montreal’s custom jewelry expert Jivan www.jivancollection.com was captured by the Mediterranean sea. He knew he would surely find a source of inspiration for his new collection.
Sure enough, while perusing the many beautiful little shops in the Greek Isles, he noticed these lovely thin bracelets. They were not only delicate but very versatile for everyday wear. After speaking with some women, they claimed that they loved how light and feminine they were compared to their normal over-sized bracelets. Yet, the modern, clean look appealed to the men as well because it still felt masculine. Jivan knew that he wanted to bring this perfect balance and feeling to his customers.
The new Chameleon line is being launched over ten different colors. The majority of the bracelet is black (natural spinel) with an accent of either blue (lapis), turquoise, pearl (fresh water), orange (carnelian) or purple (amethyst). Due to the high demand, Jivan predicts that many more colour options will be on the way. Those thin faceted bead bracelets are made with premium quality beads and high finished rhodium plated silver. The unique tribal inspired signature patterns adds a personal touch and makes it so distinct , starting at a cost of 95$ up to 139$ you can get the look while supporting a Montreal designer. So go on and get layering!

Fashion Show & Fashion Jewelry

On March 8th Jivan Collection collaborated with the students of John Molson School of Business for the 9th annual CASA Cares: THE CITY fashion show. The event was held to benefit the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. Last year an incredible amount of $14,000 was raised and this year their focus was to raise a whopping $20,000! The night was held at Arena nightclub in the legendary Forum building, a historic Montreal landmark. The show was a great success filled with fun, loads of energy on stage and beautiful models showcasing Jivan’s newest line of Oniro crystal necklaces. The fashion was well-styled and every outfit was complimented with a splash of the jewelry line’s signature colors: cobalt blue (lapis), turquoise, onyx and of course the Oniro crystal that lit up under the lights. This opportunity was one of Jivan Collection’s greatest partnerships so far, working with wonderful people and supporting a very honorable cause. Other sponsors included Kartel, Loblaws and more.

Jewelry care tips for Jewelry Lovers!

Always be Gentle with your jewelry.
Jivancollection™has been manufactured and designed to the highest quality standards. Special care and maintenance will preserve the beauty and shine of your jewelry.

Here are some important tips from Jivan
Avoid wearing jewelry when doing rough work or engaging in sports, to minimize the risk of breaking or chipping.
Be careful not to subject your beaded bracelet or necklace to stresses that can weaken them, such as wearing it when sleeping.
Showering and cleaning can leave a film on your jewelry and make the surfaces appear dull, so try to remove your jewelry first.
Never wear jewelry while in a swimming pool or hot tub, the chlorine in the water can damage various gemstones and metals.
Keep jewelry in separate compartments or wrapped in its original case, to protect pieces from scratching each other and always store bead necklaces strung with silk flat because silk stretches over time.
I will also recommend putting your jewelry on last when getting ready, direct exposure to hair-styling products and perfume will often damage the metal and gemstones especially (Pearl,Lapis,Malachite)
Also a periodic examination of clasps and settings to ensure a secure fit is recommended.
